In most cases our customers use our combo yagi/router outside and the signal they get inside is not perfect (sometimes you need to be in a specific zone to catch the signal so you cannot use the signal everywhere in the house).

How to set up the product :

You install the first router with the yagi antenna outside (The router is in a weatherproof box)

The outdoor router get power from the indoor router (Through PoE).

You install the indoor router inside the house set it up and connected to outdoor router through ethernet cable.

Now you can connect your computer(s) to the indoor router!

You can now scan for networks to receive the Wi-Fi signal inside

! ! ! WARNING ! ! ! The Trio Yagi / 2 routers is harder to set up than our other products (more steps) so you need to follow the directives carefully. We provide a detailed user guide to set it up, and will give technical support if you have problems to set it up. We recommend this solution to people with at least basic network knowledges!

Most of the time people need to plug more than one computer using a distant wireless signal, this trio solve all their problems. The yagi catch a distant signal and the router outside get the signal from the yagi and send the signal to the second router inside. The router inside broadcast the signal to all computers around.

If you have a metal building, and can't get any signal from outside that building, this solution, with it's long cable possibility, is perfect to install an antenna outdoor that will get the signal, and bring it inside with the Ethernet cable to broadcast the signal indoor through the indoor router.

You can use up to 300ft of Ethernet Cable without any loss to link both router together. This mean you can install the outside router on top of a mast or a high tree to get a good line of view with the distant point you try to reach, and transfer the signal inside to the second router through Ethernet Cable ).

This is a perfect solution for those who need to put the yagi outside without needing extra length of COAX cable with a lot of dB loss. When using Coax cable on antenna there is signal loss, so you need to use a short cable. With this system there only 2ft of cable between the router and the yagi antenna so the loss is reduced compared to other system and this means better reception and emission strength).
